On Credwiki, only registered users can view and edit most of the pages. New users must contact the user administrator by email at sm2234<at>columbia.edu. This security restriction is in part due to potential spamming exploits.

  • Please supply the administrator with the following information:
    • The user name of your choice
    • Your real name (First, Middle, and Last)
    • A valid email address (so that a password can be sent to you)

An account will be created for you as soon as possible, with a temporary password sent to you by email. You can login later to change the password. To change your password, go to Special:Preferences, login with the temporary password, and make changes there (including the password and, if desired, the look and feel of your wiki interface, etc.). There is also a link on the Main Page.

  • Optional requests may include:
    • Whether or not you want your real name blocked from other users
    • Whether or not you want your email address blocked from other users
