Biography
Juliana Smith's research interests in the CRED lab have to do with group decision making in a risky or uncertain environment. She is particularly interested in how these decision making processes influence conflict resolution and negotiation as pertaining to a group's ability to come to a lasting consensus.

Juliana is working with Professor Elke Weber and several other collaborators on a multi-site study investigating group and individual decision making pertaining to the environment with real-world application.

She is also working with fellow doctoral students David Hardisty and Poonam Arora on a study of the effects of time and social identity on cooperation rates in social dilemmas and game theory.

As a member of the Higgins lab, Juliana is interested in decision-making, negotiation, social goals, and shared reality.
