Biography
Dr. Levine did his undergraduate work at Northwestern University and received his Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin. He is currently Professor of Psychology and Senior Scientist in the Learning and Development Center at the University of Pittsburgh. His work focuses on small group processes, including socialization, newcomer innovation, reaction to deviance and disloyalty, majority and minority influence, and development of shared reality. He has published extensively on these and related topics. Dr. Levine is a Fellow of the American Psychological Association and the American Psychological Society and has served as Editor of the Journal of Experimental Social Psychology and Chair of the Society of Experimental Social Psychology.
