Biography
Dr. Gregory is a Senior Researcher at Decision Research, Inc. and Associate Director of the Eco-Risk Research Unit of the University of British Columbia. He works on problems of environmental and risk management, value elicitation, and negotiated decision making. One focus is the development of methods for understanding stakeholder values to assist environmental managers in resource planning, evaluation, and negotiation. Another emphasis is Dr. Gregory's work with representative stakeholder committees to create broadly supported policy alternatives. He also leads workshops to improve the decision-making skills of risk managers and lay-persons. Dr. Gregory currently lives in Vancouver, Canada, and often serves as a consultant to government agencies, interest groups, and industry in the United States and abroad.
