Biography
Dr. Brown is an Associate Research Scientist at Columbia University's International Research Institute for Climate and Society (IRI). He received his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Harvard University. His research studies the design and application of innovative water management methods drawn from economic modeling and advances in the characterization and prediction of hydroclimate. It integrates statistical hydrology, systems analysis and economic theory to foster the design of water systems that better satisfy society's competing priorities.
